Brow Lift surgery is performed under general anesthesia so you will be asleep during the entire surgery. This surgery is performed usually as an outpatient procedure, but sometimes patients stay overnight for observation. Out-of-town patients may stay in one of our overnight recovery suites with a nurse that is available. The surgery itself generally takes 2-3 hours, and may be longer depending on whether there are any additional procedures being performed . After your surgery, you will be able to go home or stay in the overnight facility with office follow-up soon thereafter. Patients can expect some bruising and swelling for about a week or two after surgery, but most patients can usually return to work soon thereafter.
